HANDORU launches customer conversation agents for service businesses
Today we are launching HANDORU, an AI customer conversation platform for service businesses. Built in Prague for teams across the EU, HANDORU helps businesses respond to customer enquiries using their own information while keeping staff in control of the conversation.
For a small business, a customer message often arrives in the middle of something else. A team member may be serving a customer, preparing for an appointment or finishing a job. Questions about services, opening hours, policies and next steps still need an answer. HANDORU is built around that everyday work.
An agent that knows the business
Each business has its own information, voice and way of working. HANDORU uses the information a business provides to help answer customer questions in that context. The aim is to make routine enquiries easier to handle without asking the team to write the same explanation each time.
A useful answer also has to respect the limits of what the business knows. General service information is different from live availability, a payment status or an existing reservation. Those details belong to the systems the business already uses. HANDORU is designed to work with those systems, with available actions determined by the connections and permissions configured for the business.
Confirmation before a commitment
Answering a question and making a commitment are different responsibilities. A customer asking about a service has not necessarily agreed to book it. HANDORU is built to request confirmation before taking an action that creates a customer commitment.
The business decides which capabilities its agent can use and when staff should be involved. Connecting a system does not mean giving the agent unrestricted authority over it. When an action is not available through the configured systems, the conversation needs a clear next step, such as a relevant link or help from the team.
Staff stay part of the conversation
Some requests need judgment, an exception or a person who knows the customer. Human handoff is part of the product, so staff can take over when needed. HANDORU is intended to support the people running the business and reduce repetitive work while preserving their control over customer relationships.
That matters especially for service businesses, where a conversation may involve more than finding an answer. The team may need to understand what a customer wants, explain a policy or decide how to handle an unusual request.
Getting started with HANDORU
Businesses can begin setup through the HANDORU website. Setup includes defining the business information and connecting the channels and systems the team wants to use. The capabilities available to an agent depend on that configuration and the connected providers.
We are launching with a clear focus: help service businesses spend less time on routine customer enquiries while keeping control of the commitments they make. We want to hear which questions take the most time in your business and where a conversation most often needs a member of staff.
